A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Madeleine developed a deep passion for women’s history, with a particular focus on the life of pioneer Mary Ann Goodnight. This interest led her to relocate to Amarillo, Texas, where she pursued her dream career as a public historian at the Goodnight Ranch. Madeleine is dedicated to the belief that local history serves as a powerful tool for strengthening communities and plays a vital role in shaping a better future.
