It’s a Bush Family Holiday at Bush Family Home State Historic Site. Join site manager Troy Gray as he introduces us to the house that boasts two presidents, two governors, and a first lady (with another first lady having lived not too far away). We’ll hear stories of the family’s time in the home and learn about why the Bush family came to West Texas, the story of Robin Bush, and the childhood of George W. Bush, whose boyhood bedroom can be seen at the site. We’ll also take a look at some special photos of Bush family Christmases past.
Troy Gray became the Site manager of the Bush Family Home in January of 2023. He was chosen after having 16 years of experience 
working in various museums in Waco, Temple, and Beaumont. His love of history, especially presidential history, began with a trip to Washington, D.C. as an elementary school student.
